It’s a southwestern European country. The mainland shares borders with France, Gibraltar, Andorra, and Portugal. The Mediterranean Sea dominates the Spanish coast to its east and south. To the north is the Bay of Biscay and to the west, the Atlantic Ocean. Canary Islands and Balearic islands belong to Spain. It also has four enclaves, Melilla, Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera, Peñón de Alhucemas and Ceuta on the Moroccan border.
The tourism industry has improved its facilities especially for water sports which is a boost to yachting, sailing and adventure sports. Some of the famous beaches are located here - Barcelona, Costa del Sol, Palma and the islands of Ibiza, Minorca and Mallorca.There are cruises and yachts available to visit cities in Spain as well as cruises that take you to France, Gibraltar and Morocco.
